Radio Mystery Theater  (ages 13-18)

Join our Radio Mystery Theater class and enter into the captivating world of classic radio plays from the Golden Age of Radio. Participants will learn to harness the power of their voices to convey deep emotions, build dramatic tension, and explore character motivation. Experience the art of storytelling as we bring timeless scripts to life, all while enjoying the thrill of performance. The final production will be recorded and available to share with friends and family.

Create A Radio Show (ages 13 -18)

Welcome to our exciting radio show class, where students embark on a journey through the captivating history of radio in the United States. Together, we'll listen to samples of iconic radio programs and commercials that shaped the airwaves. Participants will also learn how to create sound effects from everyday objects, write original content and work in

collaboration with other creatives. By the end of the course we'll have an all-original radio show to share online with family and friends.

Join us for Games Galore! a fun and engaging "drop-in" class that's free for anyone enrolled in an O.T.A. class. Meeting twice a week for 45 minutes, we’ll dive into a variety of games such as Jeopardy, Charades, Boggle, Wheel of Fortune and Scattergories. It’s a fantastic way to bond with your fellow actors while enjoying some lighthearted competition. Come and have a blast with us!

Teen Writers Lab:  Playwriting
(ages 13-18)

Games Galore! (All ages)

Join us for our beginner's playwriting course! This class is perfect for those eager to write their own stage play. We'll cover all the basics, from generating ideas and how to structure a plot, to crafting engaging dialogue. Each week playwrights will build on their previous work, and by the end, may even have a one-act play ready to share!

Shakespeare!...All About the Bard  

                  (ages  13-18)

Welcome to "Shakespeare! All about the Bard." In this exciting course, we will dive into the life and works of William Shakespeare, exploring the vibrant Elizabethan era that influenced his writing. Did you know that Shakespeare invented over 1,700 words and phrases, including "wild goose chase" and "eyeball"?  Join us as we unravel some of his complex plots, pick-a-part his unique insults, learn about the iconic Globe Theater, read excerpts from his timeless plays and immerse ourselves in the world of this literary genius!
